Hi gang, Rick Ostler here from Community Joint Ventures with 10 Incredible Ways To Keep Your Sales Soaring.

10 Incredible Ways To Keep Your Sales Soaring

1. Maximize the effectiveness of your adsense ads. Don’t just use the same size banner, use a
variety to attract the greatest number of clickers. Test, Test and more testing makes you Cash.

2. Make your web site load much faster by cutting down on banner ads and start using more buttons.
Button ads are also smaller and take up less space. Very few people pat attention to banner ads now.

3. Offer free advertising space to well known and respected companies on your web site. Sometimes
people link their business credibility to yours.

4. People have been taught all their life to respect people in authority. Tell your visitors that you are
the president or CEO of your business. People like to deal with the top dawg!

5. Offer people a free telephone consultation before they order your product. When they get to know
you personally, it could convert to more sales.

6. Find a charity your target audience would likely support. Tell people on your ad copy that you will
give a percentage of the profits to that charity. It will make you feel better about business and yourself.

7. Hold a “buy the most wins contest” on your web site. Tell people each monthly winner will get a ipod, ebooks or software you managed to get at a reasonable price or better yet, free.

8. Attract visitors to your web site by offering them a free course. You could package the course on
a follow-up autoresponder and send lessons daily.

9. Interview people related to your industry and get their legal permission to convert it to an article.
Promote your web site by submitting it to ezines.

10. Follow Up. Always follow up your emails, telephone calls, first time meetings, introductions quickly so they don’t lose the interest in you and your products or services.

Community Joint Ventures - New on Google Maps

Sunday, February 3rd, 2008

Hi gang, Rick here again from Community Joint Ventures with information for you Google Maps lovers. New ways to filter searching on Google Maps should improve how people find what they need through the service. A selection of search choices has been added to Google Maps.

The Google LatLong blog discussed the capabilities behind a newly added “show search options” link at the service:

Locations - Search only addresses, places of interest or other location names. For example, searching for “storm” will bring you to the city of Storm, Finland.

Businesses - Search only businesses. Searching for “storm” over San Francisco will show you businesses with storm in their name.

User-created content - Search maps created by users in Google or anywhere on the web. Searching for “storm” over San Francisco will show some interesting photos from the stormy week we had in San Francisco last month.

As Google competes with a host of companies for local search business, this addition shows how Google’s properties can help make a searcher into a visitor. That should serve as a nice selling point for Google as it works on pulling in more local clients. Thanks to David Utter, staff writer for WebProNews for this.
